Between now and Saturday, May 6th, you have a fabulous opportunity to come see seven floors of art at this year's Artomatic! There are artists representing all types of media and the depth and breadth is just unbelievable. One of my favorites is the display by a 9-year-old boy on my floor! This has been such a great experience for me, and I know if you come visit, it will be a great one for you too!
It's not just visual arts -- there are three stages, a movie theatre, a book store and three workshop spaces, filled with musicians, poetry readings, theatrical performances, and even fire-eaters (they actually perform outside in the courtyard). I'm so excited that my good friend Catherine Zudak and two of her fellow actors/playwrights are travelling from Ann Arbor to perform scenes from their play The Know Gun Show on Thursday, April 20th at 6 pm! I'll be there for that and I plan on being there for Meet the Artists Nights on April 8th and 29th, but I also live close by, so let me know if you're going and I'll try to meet you.
